Shannon + Brian

Posted on: No Comments

It’s not very often that we get to travel to destination weddings for our shoots so this one was quite a sight to see! Shannon and Brian, both Texans, decided to travel to Colorado for a mountain-side wedding in Beaver Creek at Beano’s Cabin. Turquoise Video Productions was the only DFW vendor to travel with them while Coloradans, Mark and Michele with In Photography, captured Shannon and Brian’s day.  Planning a destination wedding is not easy and Carolyn with Artisan Events was their hero from the start to finish. Brian, as a fabulous chef, planned the meals for both the rehearsal dinner and the reception, the first of which included a whole roasted pig! Sugar in Breckenridge, CO crafted their beautiful cake and the couple danced their night away from the slopes of the rocky mountains. Congrats and what a beautiful night for Shannon and Brian!

Shelby + Blake

Shelby and Blake bleed gold and green. This pair of Baylor bears had their wedding over the summer but for an August wedding it wasn’t too swelteringly hot. Shelby got her gorgeous dress from the same boutique featured in popular TV show, Say Yes to the Dress, and it’s actually a light shade of blush! One of our favorite photographers, Tracy Autem captured their amazing day and the entire event, which incorporated Baylor chic gold and green confetti was planned by Extraordinary Evens and Design. Lush Couture Floral provided lovely floral arrangements for the candlelit ceremony at the Broadway Baptist Church, which was followed by a reception at the always fabulous, Fort Worth Club, where guests danced the night away to the Drywater Band. Wishing the best to this bear couple that even included a “sic’em” hand sign in their ceremony!

Christal + Jack

Here’s a highlight from the beautiful wedding of our clients Christal and Jack! These two were married at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth and Christal glided down the aisle in a beautiful lace sleeved dress from De Me Fille with her make up done by Tish Whitworth and hair done by Nici Sabine. Before the ceremony, their close friend sang a beautiful acoustic rendition of “Amazing Grace”. The lively and hopping reception took place at the Ashton Depot, a chic venue which the couple added a rustic touch to with antler and rope décor (The bride even had cowboy boots under her dress)! The beautiful floral for the event was done by Blossoms on the Bricks and one of our favorite bands, Trey and the Tritones, provided some grooving entertainment for this couple’s wedding. Crème de la Crème made yet another appearance on the cake front and the couple rode away in a town car provided by Fort Worth LX Limo. The whole event was photographed by Tyler Schmitt with Mill Photo Studio. What a beautiful and fun wedding to be a part of! Congrats to Christal and Jack!

If you’re looking for a Texas wedding without a single guest from Texas and some sweet Australian accents then look no further! Shot and edited by our associate, Justin, Rachael and Abdel’s gorgeous wedding took place at the Oak Water Ranch in Granbury, Texas, a venue we love and get to work at often. Rachael had just moved to Texas only weeks before the wedding but she looked stunning at this very Texas venue with her hair and makeup done by the team at Something You Makeup, who we also get to work with a lot! We Plus You Studios did their floral and their elegant cake came from a bakery we see often in our shoots, Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery! The reception featured one of our favorite DJ’s, Randy Ro and catering by Oliver’s Fine Foods. This pair of Doctor’s had a splendid and classy wedding planned by Amanda with Events By Kristin who always does an amazing job. Feather and Twine Photography captured their big day. We are so happy to have worked on this sweet and unique couple’s wedding! Congratulations to Rachael and Abdel!

Lauren + Thomas

This couple’s story began during their time at Ole Miss, Lauren, a sweet girl from Texas and Thomas, a southern boy from Georgia… They were meant to be from the start! Every detail of this wedding weekend was classy, elegant, and incredibly Southern! We captured Lauren’s reveal of her flawless lace Stella wedding dress to her two brothers right before they walked her down the aisle at Christ the King Catholic Church, both adorable and moving moments! Naturally, the gorgeous turquoise color of the wall behind the alter with the gold details caught our eye, and was an incredible backdrop for a touching ceremony. The reception at the Warwick Hotel was absolutely stunning! The gold, pink, and white details throughout the tablescapes and floral arrangements (by FD2 Custom Floral), were perfection. We especially liked the abundance of small flower arrangements in Mercury Glass vases along the Bridal Party’s table at the reception. The reception also had some fun southern details sprinkled in, including the Ole Miss Oil Rig groom’s cake and hunting inspired camo koozie! The mother of the Bride, Debbie, gave the sweetest speech at the reception before the dance party began. The S’mores Bar was a super fun and unique touch! Who could resist a bite sized s’more with a marshmallow freshly melted by a blow torch?? We were so happy to work with this sweet, cheerful couple and wish them all the happiness in the world!

Bonnie + Max

Bonnie and Max had a beautiful spring wedding at the Ashton Depot in Fort Worth Texas. During their courtyard ceremony, the bride and groom exchanged vows they had each written, a personal touch that guarantees there won’t be a dry eye in the house! Kimberly Rhodes of Hitched Events pulled the entire event together in her usual fabulous way! The florals for both the ceremony and the reception were absolutely gorgeous! Neutral colors were mixed with pinks throughout the wedding flowers and tablescapes to create a classic and elegant look. We loved the fun addition of the pink sequined tablecloth; it added just the right amount of glitz to the evening! And Mars Hill rocked the party in their usual fashion.  This couple clearly had so much love and support from their friends and family and we wish them many many years of love and happiness!
