Sometimes just a few seconds of a 8 hours day are all we need to tell a couple’s story. We just finished this sweet sneak peek for Hannah +Weston. They were married at Royal Lane Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Of course the floral was amazing - Bella Flora of Dallas never disappoints One of our fave moments was when the bride and groom took a moment before the ceremony to exchange love letters and personal gifts Expertly planned and executed by the fab team with As You Wish… The stunning reception venue at The Carlisle Room was a perfect setting to celebrate the newly weds. We feel so privileged to have been a part of this beautiful couple’s wedding weekend (and we go to see her brother Cole and his wife, Helen, who’s wedding we filmed a year prior!).
It’s not very often that we get to travel to destination weddings for our shoots so this one was quite a sight to see! Shannon and Brian, both Texans, decided to travel to Colorado for a mountain-side wedding in Beaver Creek at Beano’s Cabin. Turquoise Video Productions was the only DFW vendor to travel with them while Coloradans, Mark and Michele with In Photography, captured Shannon and Brian’s day. Planning a destination wedding is not easy and Carolyn with Artisan Events was their hero from the start to finish. Brian, as a fabulous chef, planned the meals for both the rehearsal dinner and the reception, the first of which included a whole roasted pig! Sugar in Breckenridge, CO crafted their beautiful cake and the couple danced their night away from the slopes of the rocky mountains. Congrats and what a beautiful night for Shannon and Brian!
This past October we filmed Emma and Tony’s wedding. Emma works for Kay Watson, one of our favorite wedding planners who also planned their event, so we were very excited to capture Emma and Tony’s special day! Their beautiful and unique ceremony took place under the gorgeous gazebo outside of Arlington Hall at Lee Park. Emma waltzed down he isle in her elegant and vintage chic dress accompanied by the Gyro’s String Quartet and floral designs by Garden Gate Floral. Brittany Jones did Emma’s stunning hair and make-up and Ben Q. Photography was there to capture this beautiful couple – always fun to work side-by-side with Ben and Crys. Their smoothly frosted cake came from Frosted Art and guests celebrated this handsome couple with music from the Ice House Band and lighting by Simply Music Events. Congrats to Emma and Tony!
Abby and Kris were married on a pretty Sunday morning in Krum, Texas at the amazing Milestone Mansion. They met at a sushi restaurant where they both happened to be picking up to go orders! The rest is history. Abby’s elegant dress along with make-up and hair by Angie Williams fit right in with the beautiful pastel floral arrangements from Coco Fleur Events. Kris and his groomsmen added a unique touch to their wedding attire which incorporated super hero socks for all the men in the wedding party! Their dainty cake came from Candy Haven and Jamie Huffman Photography captured this amazing day for them. This romantic wedding and reception concluded with the two driving off in a charming white 1941 vintage Packard. Best wishes to Abby and Kris! And for everyone ordering sushi in the near future, be mindful of who you may bump into!
Shelby and Blake bleed gold and green. This pair of Baylor bears had their wedding over the summer but for an August wedding it wasn’t too swelteringly hot. Shelby got her gorgeous dress from the same boutique featured in popular TV show, Say Yes to the Dress, and it’s actually a light shade of blush! One of our favorite photographers, Tracy Autem captured their amazing day and the entire event, which incorporated Baylor chic gold and green confetti was planned by Extraordinary Evens and Design. Lush Couture Floral provided lovely floral arrangements for the candlelit ceremony at the Broadway Baptist Church, which was followed by a reception at the always fabulous, Fort Worth Club, where guests danced the night away to the Drywater Band. Wishing the best to this bear couple that even included a “sic’em” hand sign in their ceremony!
Kelly and Gerry met at TCU, but took Kelly’s best friend Amy to get them connected. She messaged Gerry from Kelly’s phone and said “here’s my number, call me”. Isn’t social media the BEST? They were married at UCC in Fort Worth and held a beautiful purple reception at the Champion’s Club at TCU’s Amon Carter Stadium.Tami Winn Events, in their usual fashion, designed and planned the event; they even created an over the top purple rose wall to spotlight the beautiful wedding cake from Crème de la Creme; isn’t that cake a perfect reflection of our classic bride? Tracy Autem Photography captured the day perfectly – we LOVE working with her and her team! The food was to die for, catered by Bonnell’s.Halo Brides created the stunning look of the bride, wedding party and family for the day. And Beyond really added that extra TCU purple feel with the beautiful lighting. Enjoy the film!
Here’s a highlight from the beautiful wedding of our clients Christal and Jack! These two were married at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth and Christal glided down the aisle in a beautiful lace sleeved dress from De Me Fille with her make up done by Tish Whitworth and hair done by Nici Sabine. Before the ceremony, their close friend sang a beautiful acoustic rendition of “Amazing Grace”. The lively and hopping reception took place at the Ashton Depot, a chic venue which the couple added a rustic touch to with antler and rope décor (The bride even had cowboy boots under her dress)! The beautiful floral for the event was done by Blossoms on the Bricks and one of our favorite bands, Trey and the Tritones, provided some grooving entertainment for this couple’s wedding. Crème de la Crème made yet another appearance on the cake front and the couple rode away in a town car provided by Fort Worth LX Limo. The whole event was photographed by Tyler Schmitt with Mill Photo Studio. What a beautiful and fun wedding to be a part of! Congrats to Christal and Jack!
We had such a fun time filming this New Year’s Eve wedding for Katie and Nick, who are friends with another couple who’s wedding we shot in September, Nicole and Ryan! Planned by Amanda Davis with Events by Kristin, this spectacular wedding was filled with a beautiful couple and a lot of confetti to welcome the new year and Katie and Nick’s new life together! The lovely ceremony took place at the St. Mark Evangelist Church in Plano with the flashy and exciting reception that followed at the Marriott at Legacy Town Center. The bridesmaids’ sparkly, sequined dresses fit right in with this dazzling new years celebration! Brian Prescott DJ’d the fun-filled night and Holly Viles Design supplied the beautiful floral décor. Although the massive balloons from the reception popped and fell down and became more like beach balls surfing the dance floor, it was so much fun to celebrate with Katie and Nick, who’s special day was photographed by Margot Landon Photography! Congrats to you two!!
If you’re looking for a Texas wedding without a single guest from Texas and some sweet Australian accents then look no further! Shot and edited by our associate, Justin, Rachael and Abdel’s gorgeous wedding took place at the Oak Water Ranch in Granbury, Texas, a venue we love and get to work at often. Rachael had just moved to Texas only weeks before the wedding but she looked stunning at this very Texas venue with her hair and makeup done by the team at Something You Makeup, who we also get to work with a lot! We Plus You Studios did their floral and their elegant cake came from a bakery we see often in our shoots, Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery! The reception featured one of our favorite DJ’s, Randy Ro and catering by Oliver’s Fine Foods. This pair of Doctor’s had a splendid and classy wedding planned by Amanda with Events By Kristin who always does an amazing job. Feather and Twine Photography captured their big day. We are so happy to have worked on this sweet and unique couple’s wedding! Congratulations to Rachael and Abdel!
Although we’re horned frogs, we loved this FAB Texas Tech couple! They are so cute together and have the coolest family and friends. We truly enjoyed getting to know Amanda and John! Their wedding was spectacular, stylish, and classy with a splash of that Texas Tech Red Raider pride. Through behind the scenes shots of Amanda’s gorgeous Bliss dress, we captured the sweet bride and groom just moments before Amanda walked down the aisle at Robert Carr Chapel and they both said “I do.” Amanda’s dress was so stunning that she was featured in this Bliss Bridal Salon Commercial! Amanda looked radiant with her make-up done by Jennifer Trotter as she glided down her rose petal-lined aisle in front of friends and family. The festive reception, held at City Club Fort Worth, was a party complete with sunglasses (stamped with their wedding hashtag, #SPOFEST2014), great stories from the best man and maid of honor, and great music from DJ Nate Nelson with LeForce Entertainment. Bridal Blooms did their lovely floral arrangements. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Amanda and John whose special day was photographed by the ever talented and fun Tracy Autem. Here’s to an incredibly happy life for this wonderful Red Raider couple!
Cammy and Matt had a beautiful wedding ceremony on SMU’s campus at Perkins Chapel followed by a Gatsby-inspired reception at the Crescent Club in uptown Dallas. They were so fun to film and we were also able to see some old clients (Abby and Jeff) while we were there! Cammy looked incredibly gorgeous with her hair and makeup done by Halo Brides. Their amazing event coordinator, florist, and one of our favorite people to work with was Tami Winn. And their photographer whom we have the pleasure of working with often was Tracy Autem! After the beautiful ceremony, their lovely and exciting reception featured lighting from Beyond and music from The Project Band, all MC’d by Andy Austin. Everyone enjoyed their artsy, 20’s inspired cakes, which were done by another one of our favorite vendors of all time, Crème de la Crème! Of course this Gatsby wedding wouldn’t be complete without a drive off into this sweet couple’s new life in a white Rolls Royce from Romantic Remembrances! Such a beautiful wedding to capture! Wishing the best to Cammy and Matt!
We were very excited when we were approached by Chika and Chinedu, having filmed her brother Chima’s wedding years before. It was great to see the Egwagu family again! This couple has quite a history; their families have known each other since they migrated from Nigeria, West Africa and the two grew up as close family friends. It wasn’t until after college that they decided to take their friendship to the next level. Their romance bloomed quickly and it wasn’t long before Chinedu proposed at an Allen Stone concert! This vibrant couple wanted their wedding to reflect their personalities, culture and religion and after over a year of planning with Nosa Oyegun of Elegant Nuptials and Events, it was surely a night to be remembered! The gorgeous ceremony was held at Lover’s Lane United Methodist Church, and they celebrated their love and faith in front of an incredible gathering of family and friends, all 450 of them! The bride looked flawless in her fitted gown with intricate ruffled detailing on the bottom from Stardust Celebrations. Their elaborate reception was held at the Four Seasons Resort Dallas at Las Colinas and was full of Nigerian tradition and rituals. The ballroom was glowing with the light of thousands of candles, which added to the luxury of the purple shades throughout the decor. The show stopper of the reception was the majestic stage and custom dance floor which was packed with their guests long into the night! This couple is clearly cherished by their friends and family, and we know that they are destined to have a long and happy marriage! This gorgeous wedding was recently featured in Brides of North Texas Magazine.
When Sarah Rizy challenged us to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, we knew that we had to go above and beyond for this video! Aytek was the mastermind behind our Silent Film Era video. Doesn’t he made a great creep?! Not to mention Izzy the Australian Shepherd – our hero!!
We were happy to participate and even happier to donate to a great cause! Enjoy!
